All that desire to live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution it says in the word of God. So, if that is true, do you think those who do the persecution are going to regard it as persecution, or do they think of it as your just desert and that you have a martyrs complex? Persecution, godly persecution, is suffering for Christ, for the truth. Servetus was not persecuted. He was executed for heresy.
