In the link below, Rush Limbaugh exposes anti American agenda in his analysis of Dinesh D'Souza over his dealing with President Obama's administration. More to the point, is Limbaugh's comments of D'Souza being targeted for his investigative journalism. While I do not endorse everything about Limbaugh or D'Souza, I do think America needs to heed Limbaugh's message.  As D'Souza suffered unjust hostility for his expose, so Richard Cameron reveals how God's people suffer in like fashion...taking enemy fire.  America, is under attack for her strong protestant Christian heritage.  Praise God for Christian soldiers who lay down their lives for the good of their Captain (Jesus), and for the good of their nation (America).

"Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with them that contend with thee, and I will save thy children. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob."—Isaiah 49.24-26.

WE may claim a special interest in this place of Scripture beyond many other places of it. Look into the very first verse of this chapter. "Listen, O isles, and hearken ye people from afar." It would appear that this was unto Britain. "Listen unto me, O Britain and Ireland." The Lord is crying unto us this day to listen unto Him. You will say, "What is the Lord saying? What will the Lord cry unto us?" We cannot now take time to speak unto all that is in this chapter, and make application of it; but look to the thirteenth verse, "Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth. For the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted."

He is crying unto us, "Sing, O heaven"—that is, "Sing, O Church; and rejoice, O earth. Sing, O State: sing both Church and State of Scotland." Oh! how should we sing? Hath not the Lord forsaken and forgotten us? Nay, though it appears so, yet it is not really so. "A woman may forget her sucking child, but the Lord cannot forget his people." The purpose of God is pregnant and about to bring forth a great deliverance unto the Church and State of Scotland. If we saw the days that our Lord is to bestow upon us in Scotland, and had a view of the ministers that shall be in it, it would make us sing. Ye think now that the ministers are gone. Indeed a great part of them are so, and the magistrates are rejected by us. We declare before sun, moon, and stars that this is the case. But the Lord hath yet ministers that shall be polished shafts in His quiver; and He will yet give us rulers, and will make out that promise: "And kings shall be thy nursing fathers;" so that if we saw the good days that are coming upon the back of these troubles, we would not get men and women kept from dancing for joy. Ye would all go home with gladness, rejoicing as if ye were frantic for joy. But you may say, "How can this be?" For there are two things to be objected against it:—

1. The fewness of them who have kept straight. But ere long that shall be made out: "The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the others, shall say, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell. Then thou shalt say, Who hath begotten me these; and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone, these, where had they been?" Indeed the Lord is coming to make this land desolate. There will not be many men, or women, or children in it, and the remnant that He will leave in it will be a poor afflicted people. But that small company will leaven the whole lump again, so that the number of the Presbyterians who adhere to Christ's cause, and to the despised and persecuted party in Scotland, will not get room to dwell in Scotland; and the reason will be because all the neighbouring nations will come and take, as it were, a copy of the doctrine, worship, and discipline of the Church of Scotland. But you may say, "How can that be?" You have the word of God for it. But this word hath not been made out very much to any Church as yet. The truth is, it is set down for the isles, and seems to have a respect to Britain and Ireland, especially Scotland. "Listen, O isles, unto me."

2. The second objection is from the strength and power of enemies. Well, come away with that. Make language of your case and the Church's case. What you say as to that, you will say, is very sad, and you are so impressed with it that when you go to God with the Church's case, you are, as it were, tongue-tacked, and cannot get it properly expressed. Well, here is your case brought to your hand. There is a question here proposed by God Himself, and it is just our language, at least the language of such as would prefer Jerusalem above their chiefest joy. And it is this, "Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive be delivered?" Is not this our case? In a word, are we not made a prey? And they that have made us a prey are mighty; and we are captives. And if you take lawful captive for the captivity of the just. Or thus, we are in captivity according to their law that is established by iniquity.

Now I shall not be long in speaking what I intend to say from these words. But as to the question, there are these two or three things in it. I shall only name them and not come over them again. And

First, There is obviously held out by it that sometimes the people of God are made a prey. I wot well, that word, "Yea, truth faileth, and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey," is made out in our day. I will tell you that there are many folk in this land that think by forbearing some practices that some men are forward to at this time to evite trouble. Nay, but forbearing duty is your sin; and if ye sin not with others ye make yourselves a prey to them. But the providences of this time are a sufficient commentary upon this. The truth is, they are not worthy of their room now that are not a prey in Scotland. That man that can keep the crown of the causey is not worthy of a good day or a good evening, though he were the best minister in Scotland. I hardly know a worse mark of a man or woman than this, that they are not a prey. The truth is any man may shoot us; and we count it our glory that it is so. Those who are free to buy or sell, to go to kirk or market, have their freedom at a dear rate. Well, we are a prey and captives. They have many of our Lord's servants both men and women in prison, and all according to their law. Well, we must not take it ill that it is so. You see there is no strange thing happened unto us, but what hath befallen many. Such things have befallen the Church before. And the Lord hath warned us not only in general— "If any man come unto me, he must deny himself and take up his cross; and through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of heaven"—but particulars are condescended upon, and cordials suitable to these particulars. There is a suitable cordial promised in this chapter, beware of grudging. We are a prey now, but ere long they that prey upon us shall themselves be preyed upon.

Secondly, The second thing that we may here observe is, that it is incident to the Church and people of God, not only to be made a prey, but to be made a prey to the mighty, strong and terrible; for so much the words will bear. We may say, our persecutors are stronger than we. Ye know if we were only a prey to men as strong as ourselves, we would laugh at them and but play with them, as we use to say. But the truth is, those that have led us captive are mighty. They have forces and armies at their command.

Thirdly, The words import this likewise; that not only is the Church sometimes a prey to the mighty, but also the people of God will be just on the point of despairing that ever they can be delivered. Again, "Shall the prey be taken from the mighty?" Shall the prey be taken from the king, from the council, from the forces and soldiers? How can it be? It cannot be. When we look "to our right hand, there is none to care for us; all refuge faileth us." There is a question here which I desire all the ministers in Scotland to answer. Ask them, "Will yonder prey be taken from the mighty?" "Nay," say they, "we need not attempt it, and we ourselves who know it, are on the point of despairing. We begin to think it needless to preach, pray, fast, weep or fight; for when we attempt to rise, or to use the means, the Lord comes and gives such a blow that we are made to sit down, and cleave faster to the ground than ever before." Nay, if we could get all the angels of heaven, to-day, to ask them this question, it would puzzle them, "Shall the prey be taken from the mighty?" It is true, indeed, believers that attain unto any intimacy with God may get a sight of this: that God will deliver His Church. But then there comes the matter: "By whom shall Jacob arise, for he is small?" Here is one to answer positively and affirmatively, and tell how it shall be accomplished. The Lord even says, "I see that though I should charge ministers and angels to tell how the prey shall be taken from the mighty, they will not do it. I will then take it on Myself to answer this question." For immediately before, you see He promiseth to make kings their nursing fathers, which shows us this, that after God hath promised a thing He doth not instantly and immediately perform it; for between God's giving a promise to His people and the accomplishment thereof, there may follow such things as may make us think it will never be accomplished but rather the contrary. When people are under those things that prognosticate the contrary of what He hath promised in His word, and "on which he hath caused us to hope," then He comes in Himself. "But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away," which is an answer to this, "Shall the prey be taken from the mighty?" Say the mighty, "Nay, ye shall never be taken out of our hands." Yea, and most part of the people think so. But "Thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered." Oh, do ye believe this? I am sure if ye did ye would be content to suffer affliction and persecution; to be fined and cast out of your houses; to wander and take your lives in your hand for a while. There is as much in this word as may make us go away singing, and may comfort us against all the trouble this time may threaten us with.

If ye talk of news, here is good news, "The prey shall be taken from the mighty, and the lawful captive delivered." But say ye, "There is little appearance of it. Where is the man to do it? I know no nobleman, gentleman, nor common to do it. We had these to go to within these few years, but now the commons are involved in the same guilt with the gentlemen, and are lying by as well as they. There is no minister or professor to do it." Indeed the Lord will not entrust the work of our deliverance to one of us. Thanks be to Him for that! For if it were so, we would lie under troubles always, and the work would be razed to the foundation, so that there would be no memory of it transmitted to posterity. Then say ye to the Lord, "How shall the prey be taken from the mighty?" And this will be His answer, "I will contend with them that contend with thee, and I will save thy children; and will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh." Never think that ye will get salvation till God come and contend with His enemies. Many would invert the Lord's order and method. They would first have salvation, and then contending with enemies. But that is not God's way; and take it in hand who will, it shall not prosper. Those who take outward salvation and preservation in a time of trouble, in the Church's distress, before the Lord comes to contend, shall find that when the Lord comes to contend with enemies, He will contend with them too. Oh, how many ministers and professors will God have to contend with when He comes back to Scotland to contend with them that contend with Him and His people! Many think that if we had such an army as we had last year we would contend with them. Well, the Lord God of Hosts will contend with them ere long, and He will feed them that oppress His own people with their own flesh.

But many folk may think this is cruelty. If ministers only and professors had said it, it might have been thought cruel, but it is the Lord's word. When our Lord comes, He will be severe; He will, to speak after the manner of men, be cruel. But He is just and righteous. The instruments He will make use of, whether they be His own people or not, must handle enemies after another sort than they have been handled; yea, they will take pieces out of their flesh and make them eat it, and make them drink their own blood as sweet wine. This will the Lord do, and make them know that He is the Lord and Redeemer of His Church and people. He is not known to be the Lord now, but is mocked and lightly esteemed. But when He comes to execute justice and judgment on the land He will make all know that He is the Redeemer of His people, and that His loving-kindness hath been remaining with them all along. And be they who they will whom the Lord will raise up to execute judgment in this land, they will reward them as they have rewarded or done unto us. They will not spare. As He lives He will bring cruel foreigners ere He want. But we may say, "We need not trouble ourselves about it, since the Lord will do it we may lie by. We need not trouble ourselves about it." Many would be at that. Indeed, the Lord will do it; but we must be in the use of the means that are incumbent on us. I shall speak to several means to be used in order to hasten the Lord's delivery of the captives, and His contending with them that contend with His people.

1. The first two or three of them, viz., of these means, ye may see in Rev. 12. 11. In the tenth verse it is said, "The accuser of our brethren is cast down." What is meant by that? It means that the devil hath got a sore stroke. How got he that? "And they overcame by the blood of the Lamb." What is that? It is believing in Jesus Christ, and employing Him, and giving Him much credit who is the Captain of our salvation, and was made perfect through suffering. Oh sad, that there is so little faith exercised in our days! For faith will say to this mountain, "Remove to yonder place," and it will be removed. "There is nothing impossible to him that believes." "They overcame by the blood of the Lamb." Indeed, he that believes will overcome if it were on a scaffold, or even lying upon the ground in the fields, and his blood gushing out, for his blood when it is gone is, by virtue of the blood of Jesus Christ, crying for vengeance. Oh, the noble victories that have been won on scaffolds and other places in this land by our Lord over the dragon and his angels! "The dragon and his angels have fought with Michael and his angels, but the dragon hath been cast down."

2. A second means is their testimony. "They overcame by the word of their testimony." It is a shame for this generation that they are so much for silence, and against a testimony, when the Lord is extorting it from them. And if any appear for a testimony, the rest are afraid and offended thereby. "They overcame by the word of their testimony." Had we openly, plainly, and avowedly pleaded with our Mother-Church, and testified against the sins of our rulers, we should not have lain so long under the feet of the usurper, of him who is the stated enemy of Jesus Christ, nor under the feet of those under him. Indeed, it is a testimony at this time to come out to preach and to hear preaching in this manner. But oh, that such a testimony were in our power! We should see about it. For my part, I would think it our duty, were there a possibility that we could get away, to go and tell them to their face that they are traitors to God, and abominable persons. This we have often said in the fields, that our chief ruler is a traitor to God and our Mother-Church, and when we go to the market crosses, to declare it by papers, the most part are offended in our Lord at this time. But I will tell you I desire not to take the praise to myself, but I say, if that testimony be adhered unto, it will give them a sore blow, even that testimony or paper that hath accidentally fallen into their hands, and hath been left at crosses. If the testimony given at Rutherglen, May 29, 1679, had been adhered to, we would have seen other things of that people than we have seen; the Lord would have countenanced His people and owned their testimony. I say, set about the giving of a testimony. This will hasten the Lord to come out of His place to save His children.

3. "They overcame by not loving their lives unto the death"—that is, by suffering; and indeed suffering gives a noble clash to enemies. We never lost anything by suffering cleanly, but gained much by those who have lost their lives on fields and scaffolds. Many folk will say, "Indeed we should suffer;" but, say they, "We should not fight." But let me see the man that says he is not for fighting (it is true, if the Lord call not to it, it should be so); but, for suffering, it may be confined in the breadth of a farthing that that man will suffer; for those that cry down defensive arms in these times, when they see it comes to this, "You must do this or suffer," will suffer the wrongs done to Jesus Christ, but they will never suffer the least loss as to their own matters. They will suffer the gospel to go away. We are ashamed of such folk as pretend to suffer for Christ, while in the meantime they submit to every temptation. There is never an act made by the enemies for some years past but they yield to it. Some will say, "I could not help taking the bond and paying the cess and locality." "I wot well" (says each of them), "I did it against my will, so that it was my affliction and suffering." But as for such suffering the Lord will not thank you for it: it is not suffering, it is yielding.

4. There is a fourth means we would prescribe to you in order to the doing what ye can to hasten the Lord's contending "with them that contend with you;" and you may read it in Luke 18.7. "Pray always, and faint not." "Will not God avenge his own elect, that cry to him day and night, though he bear long with them?" Ye must never give over praying. Refuse to give Him rest, or keep silence "till He establish truth, and make Jerusalem a praise in the whole earth." Many of you, it may be, have prayed long and come little speed. "We have been in pain; but brought forth wind"—yet you must continue. Continue this month or this year, and ye may get deliverance the next. We cannot set a time, but we know not how soon our deliverance may appear to the view of all, to the terror of enemies, the confusion of them that reproach us, and to the joy of all His people who wait for it; for He is in all appearance coming. Then, cry, "Come forward." He will avenge His elect. But if ye quit your duty in prayer before He come, ye will get no thanks when He comes for what ye have done. "If the righteous man commit sin, his righteousness shall be forgotten." There are many such righteous men in Scotland. But when our Lord comes, as for "such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, he shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity." Up, therefore, and be doing! Up to your prayers and the Lord will be with you!

5. Another means to hasten the Lord's return you have in Psalm 76.10. "Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of his wrath shalt thou restrain." Would you have the remainder of man's wrath restrained? Would you have greater things than verse 11: "Vow, and pay to the Lord your God." That is the first; but what follows? He will "cut off the spirit of princes, he is terrible to the kings of the earth." Would you have the Lord cut off the spirit of princes—cut off that base and abominable family that have been tyrannizing over these kingdoms? Would you have Him terrible to King Charles, James, Duke of York, and the Duke of Monmouth too? Then vow, and bring yourselves under engagements to the Most High. Let us never imagine that ever a party in Scotland will thrive, or that our Lord will give success unto them, even using other lawful means, except they vow to the Lord and endeavour to perform. But you may say, "Did not that party who arose and appeared in the fields in 1666, renew the Covenant at Lanark, and yet they were broken at Pentland; and never looked so prosperous like afterwards as they did before."

I dare say it in my Master's name, and in His strength will make it out, that the reason, the only one I know, that the covenant then sworn to had so little increase and success was because they took in the king's interest, notwithstanding his having declared himself before a stated enemy to Jesus Christ and His interest. You may read and always observe that in the several reformations that were in Judah, or in the Church of the Jews, they always entered into covenant with accommodations to the circumstances (sins and duties of that time). I do not desire to reflect upon our fathers for bringing home Charles Stuart to get the crown; indeed, some of them, and amongst others the reverend and worthy Mr. Livingston, did regret and go mourning to the grave for it.² Yea, his actions since, and the connivances of those who had his favour or any power under him, evidence that it is impossible to manifest or maintain the royal prerogatives of Jesus Christ and yet maintain the king's civil rights. Since it is so declared that we must either quit him as king or Christ, indeed for my part I am for no king but Jesus Christ, since they will have none but Caesar. When Christ is seated upon His throne and His crown upon His head, let such magistrates be appointed in every particular station as will employ their power for the advancement of his kingdom, and for destroying the kingdom of darkness in this land and in every place where Christ shall reign; and then let them be owned. We are constrained to say this, and can say in our Lord and Master's name, that ye should not stumble at vowing and giving testimony, but let vows and covenant go through the land. Yea, though we should not have an army in Scotland, yet, as the Lord lives, though He had not a party to back Him, He will bring down all about us. "Vow and pay to the Lord, and he will cut off the spirit of princes, and be terrible to the kings of the earth." Yea, they shall bring gifts and presents to our king, for He will make them all shake and quake. It was observed, by old Bishop Spotswood in Edinburgh, when the last bishops were brought down, when he heard that some noblemen and gentlemen were for renewing the national covenant, "Oh," says he, "we have done with it, since the people are renewing their covenant with God." And oh, that there were personal entering into covenant, and that there were general and national vowing to God; that they would have none to be head of His Church but Christ, and that they would have none to rule over them but such as are "fearers of God, and a terror to evil doers, haters of covetousness, and a praise to them that do well"! If it were so, we durst pawn our soul for it (if we had it at our disposal), that our Lord would soon arise out of His place, and let us see our desire on our enemies. Oh, that we were so wise now! But, poor people, they are much disheartened and discouraged. They think that no means will do good. Oh, that we were come to acknowledge that we have been walking contrary to Him and He unto us! He would soon in this case appear for our deliverance. If ye ask me, how can I speak so confidently of the Lord's appearing, and contending with His enemies, since there is so little appearance of it? I answer, There is more appearance of it now than there was in the beginning of June a year when we had an army (before the break at Bothwell). If ye were near God, and if these things were set about that we have spoken to, ye would see delivery very soon. And I will tell you why I cannot think that the time can be far off, in which the Lord is coming to "contend with them that contend with his people." I will tell you the symptoms of it in these two things. And the

1st Is, that the people of God are very low. And the

2nd Is, that the enemies of God are very high. It may be that they will be higher yet. The army is nothing that they have, compared to what they may have. God will have all His enemies gathered together, and then bring a fatal stroke upon them. For our part we should not care, that not only this army that they have were in a body, but that all our Lord's enemies in Europe were gathered together, that He might cut them off. It is true our power is gone, but He will not want ways to do it, though His people should never draw a sword. There is none now shut up or left, but the nearer is His coming. "For the Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants; when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up or left."

Now I would advise you to look much over the prophetical sermons of worthy Mr. William Guthrie, for he spake clearly of what is now our lot, and many things he pointed out as marks of the Lord's return. All outward things that we looked to are laid by. Great men and multitudes of ministers and professors now have gone. Indeed, it is sad to think on the ways they have gone. Yea, many ministers are saying, "Yonder people will get leave to stand or fall to themselves: none will join with them. Some may think, "Oh, but it would be a hopeful business if all the ministers, professors, and people would join in one." Indeed, if I saw them all coming to join in one as matters now stand, I would think it good wisdom to run away from that union. It would be a black mark. God will not give His glory to another. He will have few means, and these despicable ones, that His glory may the more conspicuously appear. And if they be such as attract the eyes of the people, I will warrant you they shall be laid by also, though He will make use of some means and instruments. Oh, to wait on Him for counsel, wisdom, courage, and furniture of every sort, for doing and suffering anything He may be calling us to! His and our enemies are laughing at us. Well, go to the Lord and put Him to make out His word: "Thus hast Thou said, and be as good as Thy word. Thou hast heard the blasphemy of Thine enemies." Plead with Him. You may plead more familiarly with Him than with any man in the countryside. "Hast thou not said, for the oppression of the poor, and sighing of the needy, thou wilt arise?" Oh, that we were but groaning to the Lord and telling Him what He hath promised! We would get wonderful things made out by Him. "Concerning my sons and my daughters, command ye me." Nay, there are as great things to be got from the Lord now as ever. He never said "to the house of Jacob, seek ye my face in vain." Let us make use of prayer, and that will not hinder us to make use of other means. I will assure you that you will make all your enemies to tremble and shake yet. What have we to fear? Is not the Lord on our side? and if so it matters not who be against us. Have we not the word of God to be our delight and our support in the time of our affliction? "Unless the law of the Lord had been our delight, we had fainted"—we had either declined to that which is sinful, or we had been careless, or had lain down in despair, which would have been sinful also.

Now, on the whole, ye see our case proposed in a word to God "Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?"—with His answer, "Thus saith the Lord, the prey shall be taken from the mighty, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children." Now go with the answer of this question from the Lord, believing that He is to arise and contend with them that contend with His people.

All that desire to live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution it says in the word of God.  So, if that is true, do you think those who do the persecution are going to regard it as persecution, or do they think of it as your just desert and that you have a martyrs complex?  Persecution, godly persecution, is suffering for Christ, for the truth.  Servetus was not persecuted.  He was executed for heresy.

DIVERSITY AND UNITY

Vive la difference as the French would say.

I was sharing some thoughts on this with a fellow G+ r.  Here is what came out...The snow flakes, scientists say, all vary in size and shape.  There is not one the same.  The lesson in that, is that God has made his creation with variety, and there is most certainly a beauty in that!  So we also have been made unique.  Each of us has a unique stamp upon us.

Society is like snow flakes.  Together we can make a beautiful snow fall.  Any who have skied on fresh powder snow, know there is NOTHING like it.  When you fall its almost impossible to get hurt no matter how fast you are going, because the stuff you fall on is so fluffy that its like falling in a cloud...LOL.

Society can also be likened to a body.  Each part is unique.  Each organ has its own function.  Put the organs all together and you have an absolutely AMAZING creature.  What men and women can do with the human body is incredible.  Consider the gymnast...the professional soccer players...the martial arts experts...various sorts of labor from Africans carrying over 100 lbs of water on their heads to the powerful strength in rig hands on a drilling rig...and that's not even touching the subject of what our brains can do.  There are many fields in which the human brain being specialized in has achieved incredible things...such as the space station program...or medical milestones like surgeons preventing spina bifida in children yet in the womb by surgery.

From the snow flakes and the body we learn how society may thrive. Each of us has something to contribute.  And we will thrive the most when we allow each part to maximize its specialty or genius.  Einstein once said, if you teach a fish how to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life thinking it is a moron.  What we must do then, in society, in our educational institutes, is to find what exactly each individual is naturally gifted in.  If we perfect the art of discerning where each person's talent lies, and hone in on an education suited just for that particular person's gift, we will begin to see astronomical results in our societies.

I feel a need also to speak on unity.  Unity needs to be balanced with diversity.  In order to have unity, we need to strive for commonality, which appears to appose diversity.  What we need to do is to find balance between divergent aspects or subjects, and unity among those same divergent parts.  Sounds contradictory almost doesn't it?  Our task is to find the right balance in fostering each parts uniqueness, while at the same time finding as much commonality as is possible.  For example, in the case of a human body, all the different parts make up one human body.  Each part needs to be maximized in its unique abilities, and following Einstein's principle we must not teach the lungs to pump blood like the heart.  At the same time, we must balance this fact with the need to find commonality, since they are in the same body.  That is their unity.  The heart may pump blood to the lungs so the lungs can live and in turn the lungs will send oxygen to the heart so it also can live.

Auto immune disease works like satan and throws this all into a mess.  In auto immune diseases, body parts attack each other, and the body breaks down and even dies.  In society, bullies mock and oppress those parts that differ from them.  Bullies range in age, from kindergarten to Monsanto CEO aged men.  In the Church, satan prods Gods children to FOCUS on the differences, rather than what is the heart of the matter and which makes them one in Christ.  In society one talent or field is focused on, which most commonly it is a university education.  But so many in our day, are in vocations they hate, and that is in a large part due to their not using their own natural genius. A book smart person ends up in a trade and fumbles about anxiously with tools he is not meant to handle.  We all have a God given genius! In the Church, we need to learn to see each persons gift, and that is so often neglected.  We are too busy building our houses or our careers or our empire.  Or we have simply neglected the NEED to develop the body of Christ by making sure all parts are chipping in.  When God's people chip in, they feel satisfaction and have a sense of belonging....they feel as if they are apart of a family...apart of the body...that they matter...and have an impact...and not just an impact, but an important impact...and that is no simple motivational thing...its true...EACH PART OF THE BODY OF CHRIST HAS A VITAL PART TO PLAY!  AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS THE CHIEF PURPOSE I WROTE THIS BIT ON DIVERSITY AND UNITY.  Gods people all have unique gifts, but they also have an amazing truth to unite on, the word of God is full of truths.  The problem we face is that our 3 enemies work hard to keep us apart and divided.  Our sin hinders our vision.  To overcome this, understanding goes a LONG way!  The stronger brother may bear with the weaker brother to preserve unity, because he in compassion realizes the weak brother's vision is limited and he primarily needs love now, WHILE he grows with you.

a simple bachelor

who aint no chef!

I eat simple. ...and I like it that way...so did John the baptist.  

This is hamburger fried right out of the freezer in a cast iron pan (don't use non stick or Aluminum).  Cook it to your preference...well done or rare or somewhere in between.  Its important to eat grass fed beef.  Stay away from supermarket hormone injected beef.  I fried up a whole onion in a cooper bottom pan using coconut oil, which is the best oil in my opinion.  Once the hamburger is done, I put Swiss cheese made from unpasteurized milk on the warm hamburger.  Then I put the fried onion right out of the pan on the whole pile.  I am not shy with sea salt.  Jesus himself said salt is for savor.  So salt it to your taste.  The cholesterol hype is only hype...but the key is to use sea salt, which is full of healthy minerals.  Another key ingredient I add is habanero pepper powder, which I make a powder in a  food processor using dried Habaneros.  It makes your sinus' drip and eyes water...depending on how much you shake on.  The more the better...Cayenne is a very beneficial food for your body!

I think a key to healthy eating is to follow Donald Cargill's advice.  A contemporary Scottish Minister told me he once said, "leave the table a little bit hungry.'  Think about it.  Moderation is good, and we know it.  Gluttony is not good and we all know that too.  And what do you know, good physicians like Dr. Mercola tout fasting.  Its good for your body to go without food in certain seasons.  

Eat according to your lifestyle.  If you are doing heavy physical work, or in the cold outdoors, you will need more energy and thus more food.  Your body will tell you what you need.  We all know when we eat too much....cuz we get fat and slow.  And if we eat too little, we lack energy. 

Internet Security Part II

The People are being HURT if we do not POLICE them.

If the internet is soooo major a part of our lives today and is a means from which perhaps most of  our business is done, then why is internet fraud so unchecked?  Why is internet fraud so rampant that when you file a fraud report of a distressed woman requesting help for funds to shelter her, that the police AUTOMATICALLY know its a fraud...or at least they know 99.99%  of such reports turn out to be fraud?

Follow my thoughts on this.  Martial law was practically declared on Ferguson over the Brown shooting.  That was a major show of power to keep the public safe!  How much money was lost in the riots in Ferguson?  Not long ago I saw a news report that Sony was shut down by hackers until certain demands were met.  How much do you think that cost?   I'm willing to wager the cost of Internet fraud, hacking, malaware...by FAAARRRR exceeds the damage from vandals in the nation!!!  How much power is being exercised to defend the people from internet fraud?

Add to this, the fact that Iran is not firing Russian nuclear missiles at the USA...which certainly implies an ability to control hackers.  In my former blog on internet security I made a case that it is a moral issue, not a technical one.  I would say, WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY to shut these crimes down!...but we aren't!  Why?  Is the damage selective?...and not representative of all parts of society?  Do we have examples of selective bullying? The IRS was used to target conservatives during this present Presidential administration.  Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a good man, and the world needs those men.  They need to be protected from IRS targeting, and internet targeting.

Fraud, Hackers, con artists, virus vandals, malware, etc

1.     This problem is moral; not technical, first and foremost. Hackers are human.  They have a foot print!   They are NOT invisible ghosts.  We seem to have this notion they are though, and that we can’t do much about them.  Isn't that because we have been conditioned to accept them, when we really needn't? 

2.     LOGIC says that if the hackers and fraud artists can get to us online, we can get to them!  At the very least, we can shut them off from getting to us!

3.     Has anyone else tried to report Internet fraud to the police only to be told the criminals are in a country that is outside of their jurisdiction, and so our police are helpless to help us?

4.     Are Iranian hackers firing Russian nuclear missiles off at America?  So the needed technology is there.  It’s just not being implemented.  Why?  Is it a strategical problem?  …a technical problem?  Is it a moral problem?  Or is it a mix? These are questions we need to consider.  I believe it is primarily a moral problem.  Why is Monsanto getting away poisoning our globe?  And are there not scores of Monsanto’s in our democratic society?  William Bretton’s restoration of the NYPD in the 90’s, reveals the wisdom in a strategical analysis, too.  Teams of experts, professionals, authorities, ITs, etc. will need to consider optimization of tracking the hackers foot print.  Other possible offensive measures to consider would be things like, sending a friendly digital Tron or a good Trojan horse to the criminal’s computer.   If the hackers are abroad in another country, the team may need to consider the strategy of setting up shop in that country.  It may need to be a white-ops operation.  Militaries establish bases in other countries for the purpose of protecting our homeland.  Business is wise to use the same strategy.  The profits gained by a secure online market, will amply afford the costs associated in these endeavors.  The means of recouping that cost will simply need to be fine-tuned by the team(s).  Optimized tracking can also enable us to simply turn the hackers over to those in authority.  Optimizing the tracking of hackers is a key aspect in this and that will result from team work, out of the box thinking, but most importantly, by the power of God as we seek true justice.  The TEAM will need to look at how to close the various loop holes in the hacker ‘games’, as well.  

5.     One of the chief problems mankind faces is the ‘king of the castle’ attitude.  Tyranny brought on the Declaration of Independence.  Hackers are tyrant’s and must be met with the same response.

6.     Hackers, fraud artists, etc. are criminals who USE technology, even as Hitter USED guns.  The Allies did not shrink back in terror at Hitler’s tanks!  Neither did the Jews when Egypt, along with several more Arab nations, amassed troops on Israel’s borders in 1967…when Israel knocked out her enemies in the miraculous 6 day war.  Why should we run and hide from hackers, ‘HOPING’ these criminals won’t bully us?!?!  They are the ones who need to be made afraid!  The Allies did not put up with the Nazi’s laughing at them!  Why are we the people being left unprotected (on the web) then in the ‘free’ world?  Why is there not a well-known WEB911 number to call, when there should be? 

7.     If hackers and fraud artists and any and all internet piracy is adequately addressed by the business community, and justice is secured, prosperity will follow.  The cost to secure online security will more than pay for itself. The team of experts would analyze the mode of marketing this brand (internet security). It can and will be done, once we secure a team to start the ball rolling.  If this team does not stir the authorities to their duty in the process (which is the ideal, since it is their duty), the team will secure justice for the business and private world on the internet.  People, this really a simple problem.  Computers are just a tool, as guns are a tool.  Cabela’s sells guns, and they sell them in a safe manner.  Otherwise they could not do business!  They keep the guns BEHIND the counter, lock the guns, keep their eyes open, keep loaded 45 magnums underneath the counter, etc.  It’s the same with computers!  We are being sloppy somewhere along the line.   We just need to find and fix the holes…just as online marketing experts/coaches find the gaps in online marketing funnels.  In the very same fashion, this problem of internet security can and will be dealt with.  If 97% of online businesses fail, how much of that failure is due to piracy?  If the open seas are not seen as safe for commerce, how much economic damage are we really suffering? The cost has to be ASTRONOMICAL!  Securing the internet will open our markets up like we cannot believe!  It will give 10 fold prosperity…and more!  The ideas I have laid down here, are just a few examples of many, to show we have what it takes to deal with this problem.  The exact business plan will be put together by the team.  The sooner we assemble the team(s), the better for us all!  Businesses cannot exist without private individuals (customers)!  And those customers aren't likely to sail in seas that are left open to pirate ships.   How many million dollar companies have been prevented even from birth, by piracy curbing commerce in the open seas?  Private persons see the dangers in those seas…many of which were truly gifted to run million dollar companies and benefit society with their gifts and labors.  The damage is likely in the billions of dollars!!!  Our economies NEED us to address this problem URGENTLY!!!  This is a global threat, and the impact, I dare say, is greater than was Hitler’s threat to the world.  Isn't it TIME for the Allies to rise, and deal with hackers?!

The book, MULTIPLIERS, CONFIRMS a KEY truth God has been pressing on my heart.

Essentially, people DO NOT thrive under oppression!  Bullying is not only in our schools!  Most of us know how serious of a problem bullying is in the schools.  In Mission, BC, a teenage girl committed suicide 10 or so years ago because of the crushing bullying she was subjected to.  I don't know how that makes you feel, but it makes me furious!  There is NO WAY that sort of thing should be allowed!  What?  Can't we adults handle the heat?  Can't we prevent this?  You know what?  My question is designed to stir those with power and authority up, and it will.  But it is also true, that we can't.  You know why?  Because we bully in society all the time.  Look at Monsanto and what that Nazi company is doing in the courts!  There are so many forms of Bullying going on in our society...that it is unbelievable!  And that is the bottom line reason why we have bullying going on in our schools.  

This book shows the POWER of people in authority have as they nurture those under their supervision!  People take off like rockets with loving and wise rule over them.  One powerful story  in the beginning of the book is about an Israeli tank commander.  The man performs with stellar performance when necessity demands, but when later placed under domineering and belittling command, he is unable to perform.  This is such and excellent and outstanding example found in the first chapter of the book.  You have to read or listen to it to really appreciate it...and the magnitude of the impact bullying and oppressive rule has upon people.

So the moral of the story is, that we recognize what makes us thrive, and I mean really thrive...and also to see what devastation we suffer under at present...EVEN IN DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY!  You know every veterans day we remember the war heros of WWII, and how they delivered us from Hitler.  But we need to realize, while we celebrate that, we do so while the very same oppression is being employed by those alongside us, or worse... even by ourselves!  We need to WISE UP PEOPLE!

The 10 commandments will prevent bullying.  The 10 commandments are a protective umbrella under which mankind will flourish.  And the Millennium is near...a time in which the 10 commandments will bless mankind all across this globe as nations realize the TREMENDOUS blessing to be had by doing things the way the Creator designed them to be done...even as putting premium grade oil in the engine vs sand, impacts our vehicles performance.

This is sort of a journal entry which gives mention (not detailed descriptions) of a whole slew of very powerful life style practices that can totally transform your life.  Maybe we can call this Curtis' Lifestyle Coaching 101.  Here we go. 

This is a picture of a tailgate lunch.  Well, this lesson requires me to tell you the tale.  Its a true tale.  Kind of reminds me of a new powerful nutrition documentary I just purchased on Youtube...Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, by an Australian, Joe Cross.  Any how, I had an interview today with Konecranes...and I am keen on this job.  The interview was @ 1pm.  In the morning I did my surge training, had my smoothie, and prayed to God after reading his word and singing his Psalms.  Its vitally important to start the day with God!  I went to the park for a walk and enjoyed the beauty of God's creation...soaking up the smiles and laughter in the children, talking to some dog owners, seeing old couples sit on the park bench and joggers jogging, face painters looking like seamstresses...if you don't get all of that, don't worry...I'm just rambling about the fun time I had at the park. Being out of work is not fun, but you can have fun in the midst of that and make the best of things.  Why focus on the things in life that are negative?  

Well, noon rolled around, and I was hungry...so instead of McDonald's, I KNEW I had much better food at home...not only health wise but scrumptious wise.  Below you see two over easy eggs (good farm eggs...quality) with butter on top, melted Cheese, avocado, and sea salt to taste.  The peppers are from a little Summer Fire pepper plant I bought recently at a farmers market.  The plant is about 1 foot tall and has about 50 peppers on it...I love it.,  You can buy cheese with peppers in it.  I figure this is even better...fresh peppers just picked.  I take a bite of cheese then a nibble of pepper and viola...peppered cheese...MMMM....MMM!  Was this ever good.

Any how, I went home and cooked this up in about 10 min.  But I had to get going to my interview.  I had time to eat, but I listened to my better judgment and remembered philosophers when they went to debates they would fast  Fasting clears your head to think better and more clearly.  Well, I had a decision to make...satisfy my hunger here and now...or take it with me and eat after the interview.  I decided to go hungry and have a clearer mind for the interview.  The interview went very well, and so did the tail gate eating out @ KFC.  I was parked in KFC parking lot.  I love pick ups.  You just pull down the tail gate and presto...you have a bench.  Well, along comes the yellow jackets.  They get hungry too you know.  Well, I'm pretty good with yellow jackets.  Some folks head for the hills when they show up...LOL.  I just wave at them.  If they get to busy...I just up and walk around the truck and loose them.  You can tell when they are mad and aggressive.  If they are after food, you just have to sort of wave your hand around them and they are like a jet fighter pilot, who normally steers clear of the enemy aircraft carrier...LOL.  So, I ate a wholesome meal in a junk food parking lot...LOL.  And after my fasted interview.  That's my life coaching for today.  BTW...hot peppers are a very powerful and necessary food.  I have a few posts on them in the past month.  The posts do not list all they do for you, but I do note an important book in one of the posts.  If you cant' find it let me know and I will get you there.  One other thing, the cheese is made from unpasteurized milk...which is rare in Canada.  Canada is, I think, the only nation in the world in which you cannot buy unpasteurized milk for human consumption.  Its a monopoly/control thing.  Lactose intolerance is a result of homogenization and pasteurization.  Raw milk will only strengthen you and heal you.  It has INCREDIBLE power!

So, it all comes down to your source.  Where are you getting your advice from?  This documentary is POWERFUL proof wise counsel is like a rudder on a large ship.  You can reinvent the wheel if you want, but why would you?  How much time and money do you farmers think this farming method in this documentary will save?  The figures are so high, that it is an astronomical amount of savings!

This documentary is so monumental...I am speechless!  It is absolutely amazing how that rudder can steer a ship into much much calmer and safer waters!

What I am so thrilled about, is that the documentary shows the power of doing things the way they were MADE to be done!  That's what its all about.  If we drive down the right side of the road, we will arrive at our destination safe and sound.  If we sail our boat clear of the coral reef, we will not ship wreck.  If we put gas, and not sand, in our gas tank, our car will run well.  If we optimize the bee hive, watch the honey production shoot through the roof!

As Dr David Ludwig (Associate Professor in Pediatrics, Harvard Medical School) notes in this trailer of what looks like an excellent documentary, "We place private profit above public health...systematic political failure!"  The documentary cites some high profile authorities making this documentary an earth shattering expose.  They cite/interview Richard Carmona, the 17th Surgeon General of the United States!  This looks REALLY REALLY GOOD!!!

Socialism and Public Education.

This article is POWERFUL and a MUST read!  This is a perfect illustration of the outcome of Socialism...living PROOF of what it does to society, to mankind.  I can tell you one thing, this mentality certainly does not emanate from the Protestant Reformation.  WE are suffering this oppression now mankind, in greater and lesser degrees...depending on where you live.  Here in Canada, socialism is huge. Socialism High School Experiment

Recently I saw a young lady, Rebecca Irving, give a speech on on TEDx Talks.  It was about CONNECTIVITY!  The speech really has to be heard.  But in a nut shell, it's about people being connected.  When we operate the way we were designed, which is to help each other, and work cooperatively, our capabilities and output sky rocket!  Society is like a body.  All parts of the body have something to contribute, and that contribution is necessary.  The whole rest of the body has a very great interest that ALL, including the lesser, parts of the body perform at optimum.  Think about it.  If you are in a marathon, what part of your body do you want throbbing in pain the whole jog?  Its the very same with society.  You have something to offer, and so do I.  As an electrician, I need the mechanic to fix my car so I can drive to work...and we both need the farmer to grow us food so we can eat. The farmer in turn needs the Tractor sales company so he can purchase a tractor...and so on.  EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US is wise to want the other to be at his optimum!  If he is, he can render us all much better and cost efficient service!  ALL OF US ARE NECESSARY!  We are like a bee hive.  Worker bees all work busily away, in unison.  Moody Science Films has a tremendous documentary on the bee hive.  I highly recommend it.  The queen bee has her part, as do the workers.  Lets suppose she adopts a tyrannical rule and starts killing all the bees, and selling all the honey to the black market so she can profit herself.  Instead of producing 100 lbs of honey in a week, now the hive will produce 3 lbs.  That's what oppression does to society.  All we need to do is act like human beings, and cooperate!  Really it all boils down to love.  Love will enable the bee hive of society to perform at optimum.  This planet has HUGE potential.  America's success, is available to every nation on this planet...simply by following some simple laws.

Don't talk about politics or religion in the work place!

Where does this well known maxim originate?  Why are religion and politics banned from the work place?

To answer this, we need definitions. Religion is a belief held to with faith.  Thus all men are religious, including the atheist and the secularist.  Neither the atheist or the secularist can prove God does not exist.  Thus secularism and atheism are religions. 

To answer the first question then...the unspoken ban on religion and politics in the work place, originates from those who pretend to promote freedom of religion in society, while at the same time banning all religions, except their own (because it's 'not' a religion, you see), from the work place.  Remember secularism is a way of thinking...a philosophy...a religion.  This is critical to understand!  So, either God is in or out of the work place!  The secularist says, he is out!  We just need to set down the facts!  That's his philosophy...and its not working too well either.  Just look at our economies world wide.  Look at the financial trouble the USA is in as she turns more and more away from her Creator.  How is turning the work place away from our Creator hurting us?  In a nut shell, we are throwing out the instructions...and so we find ourselves to be fighting a loosing battle.  Why?  God is the source of all good things!  Every breath we take comes from him.  All our money comes from him.  Our strength, our intelligence, our skills, our families, our homes, our health, our food...EVERY things we have that is good...comes from God.

The 2nd Question is easy.  Religion is banned...because the secularist wants us to believe his philosophy is not a religion, so he can keep God out of the work place.  Why does he want to keep God out?  Years ago Donahue interviewed Thomas Huxley Jr, the great great grandson of Thomas Huxley Sr. Thomas Huxley Sr. was Charles Darwin's bull dog. (bulldog = the one who advances/markets/propagates). Donahue asked Thomas Huxley Jr., "What was the reason for the inception of the theory of Evolution?"  Thomas Huxley Jr answered, "It was because the notion of a Creator God entered fear into man's sexual morays!"  So it has nothing to do with science or reason...which is what the text books tell us, and our educators teach us. They are teaching us a hoax.  If you are not so quick to jump on the Evolutionary Hoax banned wagon, that's perfectly all right.

Hitler's greatness teaches a powerful lesson

Hitler was a GENIUS!  Hitler was POWERFUL!  Hitler had incredible people skills!

But he left out ONE very important thing.  WISDOM!  His lack of wisdom, led to his demise.  Hitler is a PRIME example of what happens...EVEN TO THE GREATEST MEN HISTORY HAS EVER KNOWN...when they go contrary to the Law!
